We are committed to protecting your private data and want you to feel comfortable visiting our website. Our business procedures reflect our dedication to protecting your privacy in the way we process your personal information. We treat the data we collect when you visit our site in compliance with the existing data protection laws.
COLLECTING AND PROCESSING PRIVATE INFORMATION DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
We comply with regulations provided by the existing Data protection laws and regulation. Accordingly, we only collect data required for your application at Sixt.
You consent to have your data transmitted and processed exclusively for the application process. You also confirm that the information you provide is true. Further, you are aware that false information could lead to the termination of any potential employment.
YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION
After you have entered and transmitted your data, it is directly sent to the servers of our external service provider using an encrypted connection. All data are SSL-encrypted. If you log into your account with the login information provided after having registered, your login will also be SSL-encrypted (SSL = Secure Socket Layer). The legal ground for processing personal data is the candidates consent to such processing as part of applying to the position, where you choose what kind of personal data to share with Sixt in this regard, for instance by using the upload functionality from Google or Dropbox. Please note that you are entitled to withdraw the mentioned consent at any time.
DATA SECURITY
Sixt is the data controller for the processing of personal data about candidates and all questions regarding privacy can be directed to Sixt through the dedicated communication channels provided by Easycruit. The personal data is processed for the purpose of providing, executing and developing the services.
Easycruit is a cloud service developed by Visma. Thus Visma group companies and their subcontractors of IT services may have access to personal data about candidates as part of operating the service. All subcontractors are subject to data processing agreement to ensure privacy according to the standard brought by applicable privacy legislation (GDPR from 25 May 2018), and subcontractors located outside EU are subject to transfer mechanisms approved by the EU Commission.
Personal data about you are processed in Easycruit during the recruitment process and to the extent that is necessary to fulfil legislation. You may make use of the edit my profile functionalities inside their Easycruit account to delete, upload and edit information.
You hold full responsibility of the information submitted to Sixt during the recruitment process (for example, birth date, address, etc) as the information we request for the recruitment process includes only:
• Name, surname
• Contact details (phone number, email)
• Education, courses
• Professional experience
• Motivation behind Your application to Sixt
Your application is stored for not longer than 6 month and afterwards is deleted from the recruitment system automatically with you receiving a reminder 2 weeks ahead of deletion process.
You may at any time reach out to Sixt in order to exercise the right to access, rectification or erasure of personal data, or to restrict the processing related to the candidate, or to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability. In addition, you have a right to file a complaint to the data protection authorities with regards to the processing of their personal data.
COOKIES
Sixt websites may collect information when you visit our websites using technologies such as cookies or internet tags. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how users use the site and for use in optimization and marketing.

If requested, we would be happy to comply with applicable law and tell you whether we store your personal data and which data that involves.
